Reward for Calvert Shooters Who Targeted Cop Homes Doubled to $20,000


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Sept. 27, 2010)—Police in Calvert County today announced that a $20,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the recent shootings in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates that apparently targeted the homes and vehicle of two law enforcement officers. This is a doubling of the previous $10,000 reward.

The shootings occurred on Sept. 10 and 11 and involved the homes of a Maryland State Trooper and a St. Mary's County sheriff's deputy respectively. People, including children, were in the homes in both cases, but no one was injured.
