Skeletal Remains Found in Pr. Frederick Identified


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (November 18, 2010)—Investigators have identified the skeletal remains, discovered behind the Fox Run Shopping Center in Prince Frederick on October 21, as Thomas Warren Briggs, 56, of no fixed address, formerly of Prince George's County. The remains were sent to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore who found no indication of foul play.

The decaying body was originally discovered by a juvenile who was running in the woods behind the shopping center in the late afternoon.

Identification and related items were located in a wallet near the deceased. Police found no evidence of trauma or foul play on the remains at the time of discovery.
