MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (December 29, 2010)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Sunday, December 19 at 3:09 am, Tpr. R. L. Jackson initiated a traffic stop on a white Toyota on Maryland Route 5, prior to Flora Corner Road for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, Davon Thomas Eaton, 18, of Mechanicsville, Tpr. Jackson detected the odor of burnt Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in the discovery of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. Arrested and charged with Possession of CDS and CDS Paraphernalia was Mr. Eaton and a juvenile male, 16, of Mechanicsville, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending further action by juvenile services. Mr. Eaton was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

ASSAULT 1ST DEGREE: On Tuesday, December 21 at 1:17 pm, Tpr. S. M. Ditoto responded to the 21000 block of Carmen Woods Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female complainant, 19, of Clements, who advised a female, 19, of Lexington Park, was assaulted and threatened by Marcus Pedro Maurice Johnson, 18, of Lexington Park, following a verbal dispute. Tpr. Ditoto left the scene and located Mr. Johnson, who had exited the scene prior to police arrival, in the area of Westbury Boulevard and Pegg Road. Information provided by the complainant and victim, as well as statements given by Mr. Johnson resulted in his arrest for First Degree Assault. Mr. Johnson was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, December 27 at 8:55 pm, TFC M. A. Moore served an outstanding arrest warrant (T3-14723) on Sandra Gail Stone, 38, of Lexington Park. Ms. Stone was wanted for and original charge of Theft: Less than $500.00 Value. The warrant was issued on March 1, 2007 by the District Court of Charles County. Ms. Stone was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, December 28 at 12:23 am, Tpr. E. T. Reuschling served a Bench Warrant (T3-14716) on Lindsey Catherine Decker, 21, of Hollywood. The warrant was issued on December 21, 2010 by the District Court of St. Mary's County with an original charge of Driving Without A Required License. Ms. Decker was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
