CALIFORNIA, Md. (June 24, 2011) -- Police in Calvert and St. Mary's Counties released the following incident and arrest reports.

DUNKIRK 7-11 ROBBED OF CIGARETTES: On June 21 at approximately 2:24 a.m., two white males and one white female entered the Dunkirk 7-11 located at 2849 W. Chesapeake Beach Road. The female walked around the store while the males distracted the clerk by acting as if they were going to purchase some items. During that time, one male jumped the counter and stole numerous packs of cigarettes and then all three fled the store in an unknown direction. Anyone with further information about this case should contact Lt. Steve Jones with the Calvert Investigative Team at 410-535-1600 ext. 2462 or Calvert County Crime Solvers 410-535-2880.

MALE ON FEMALE ASSAULT: On June 23, Deputy William Wood of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Tri-Community Way in Lexington Park for an assault. Deputy Wood learned that Sterling E. Bollinger, 40, of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument with a female victim. During the argument, Bollinger grabbed the victims arm causing injury. Sterling E. Bollinger was arrested and charged with Second Degree Assault.
