PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (January 25, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On 1/17/2012 at 11:45 am, Trooper Smith responded to the 4000 block of Pinewood Terrace in Chesapeake Beach. Investigation revealed that a black 2001 Yamaha Motorcycle was stolen from the victim's driveway. Investigation continues.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, THEFT: On 1/18/2012 at 3:29 am, Trooper Esnes responded to Calvert Boulevard in St. Leonard to assist an off-duty trooper with a traffic stop. Brendan J. Evans, 25 of Solomons, was charged with DUI. It was also determined that he was operating a vehicle that was previously reported stolen. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1/18/2012 at 1:00 pm, Trooper Smith responded to the 4100 block of Riverview Ct. in Dunkirk for a reported theft. The rear registration plate was stolen from the victim's vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1/19/2012 at 2:39 pm, Trooper Costello stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rousby Hall Rd. at Clubhouse Dr. in Lusby. A search of the vehicle revealed that the driver, David S. Starr, 21 of Lusby, was in possession of Marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA & PILLS: On 1/20/2012 at 1:56 am, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 and HG Trueman Rd. in Lusby. A search of the vehicle revealed that the driver, Carlton E. Baldwin, 27 of Lusby, was in possession of Marijuana and pills for which he did not have a prescription. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF PILLS & COCAINE: On 1/20/2012 at 9:53 am, Trooper Costello stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Old Field Lane in Prince Frederick. Paul R. Scott, 74 of La Plata, and Stephanie D. Baker, 41 of Hollywood, were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, pills and drug paraphernalia. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT: On 1/20/2012 at 12:03 pm, Trooper Casarella responded to the 1900 block of 5th St. in Owings for a reported theft. A Dewalt Miter saw and a Stihl backpack leaf blower were stolen from residence. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 1/20/2012 at 11:46 pm, Trooper Oles responded to the Fast Stop in St. Leonard for a reported theft. Merchandise was stolen from the store. Investigation continues.

THEFT: On 1/21/2012 at 5:20 pm, Trooper Costello responded to Jibsail Drive in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Copper pipes were stolen from the heating/AC systems of the commercial buildings within the industrial complex. Investigation continues.
