MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (February 13, 2012)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

SHOPLIFTING, THEFT: On 2/07/2012 at 1:25 pm, Trooper Matthews responded to the Safeway grocery store in Prince Frederick regarding a shoplifting complaint. Two black males entered the store and filled two grocery carts with seafood and meat and walked out without paying for it. Surveillance video is being enhanced to capture still pictures of both suspects. Investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 2/11/2012 at 11:32 pm, Trooper Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Old Field Lane in Prince Frederick. A search of the vehicle revealed that Austin H. Oakes, 20 of Owings, was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF HEROIN, COCAINE: On 2/12/2012 at 5:19 pm, Trooper First Class Sorenson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 231 at Tate Rd. in Prince Frederick. A search of the vehicle revealed that Jesse J. Bowen, 22 of St. Leonard, was in possession of Heroin and Crack Cocaine. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
