Drug Arrest in St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 20, 2013)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Vice Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007.

POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA: Antione Markel Yates, 24, of Loveville, was indicted for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. These charges are related to a search and seizure warrant that was executed on his home. Suspect Yates has several felony counts already pending related to his distribution of marijuana.
