MSP Reports for Calvert Co.


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Feb. 19, 2015)—The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF CLONAZEPAM: On 2/10/2015 @ 6:25 pm, Trooper First Class Oles responded to Barstow Rd. and Sugar Notch Lane for a reported intoxicated subject in roadway. Salvatore N. Gallodoro was located and given a ride at his request to a location on Barstow Rd. At 8:46 pm, TFC Oles again responded to a complaint for a person in roadway on Barstow Rd and Leitches Wharf Rd. He again located Gallodoro. He was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was going to be allowed to sleep in their front lobby for the night. At 9:57 pm, TFC Oles responded to the Calvert County Detention Center after being notified that Salvatore N. Gallodoro, 36, homeless, was found to be in possession of prescription pills (Clonazepam). He did not have a prescription for this medication. He was taken to the booking area and processed for possession of CDS.

DANGEROUS CONCEALED WEAPON: On 2/12/2015 at 1:21 am, Trooper First Class Costello stopped a vehicle on Rt. 260 near Chesapeake Beach for traffic violations. Shane A. S. Smith, 24 of Chesapeake Beach, appeared extremely nervous when TFC Costello approached the vehicle. When exiting the vehicle, a metal object was observed. The item was retrieved and was found to be a large knife. Smith was arrested for possession of a concealed dangerous weapon and was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/12/2015 at 1:46 pm, Trooper First Class Smith stopped a vehicle near the 13300 block of Trueman Rd. in Lusby for traffic violations. The odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. Robert J. Wells, 54, of Prince Frederick, was arrested for possession of marijuana and was issued a civil citation and released.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/13/2015 at 12:34 am, Trooper First Class Newcomer stopped a vehicle on Rt. 231 near Sixes Rd. for traffic violations. A strong odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. The driver, Joseph V. Florence, 24 of Morningside, was found to be in possession of marijuana over 10 grams and was placed under arrest and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center. The passenger, Tarra M. Corbett, 24, of Chesapeake Beach, was found to be in possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. She was issued a civil citation and was released.

TELEPHONE MISUSE/HARASSMENT: On 2/13/2015 at 7:15 pm, Trooper First Class Barlow responded to the 3100 block of Solomons Island Rd. in Huntingtown for a reported telephone misuse. The victim reported that Turez L. Creek, 26, of Lexington Park, was continuously texting and calling her with threatening messages. An Application for Charges has been submitted. Investigation continues.

DUI AND POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On 2/13/2015 at 6:40 pm, Trooper First Class Palumbo stopped a vehicle on Adelina Rd. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. Michael A. Dobbins, 35, of Broomes Island, appeared to be intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Testing was performed and Dobbins was unable to complete it successfully. He was arrested for DUI. A search incident to arrest revealed oxycodone. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2/16/2015 at 12:08 pm, Trooper Warrick stopped a vehicle on Rt. 231 in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. The driver, Tammy L. Watson, 37, of Crofton, advised there was a small amount of marijuana in the center console. She was issued a civil citation and appropriate traffic violation citations and was released.

Patricia L. Carlson, 25, of Owings, arrested on 02/15/2015 @ 01:14 am by TFC T. Newcomer
