MSP Reports for St. Mary's Co.


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 25, 2015)—The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ASSAULT: On Monday, June 15 at 9:10 am, TFC C. Ditoto responded to the 23000 block of Point Lookout Road for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Dorothy T. Chase, of Leonardtown, assaulted a female victim. She was placed under arrest for Assault Second Degree and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. (15-MSP-021055)

BURGLARY: On Wednesday, June 17 at 6:02 pm, TFC C. Ditoto responded to the 45000 block of Novosel Court for reported suspicious subjects entering a vacant house. Investigation revealed that Harold Loyd Seymore 3rd, 35, of Lexington Park, and Jennifer M. Price, 33, of California, had entered the residence through a broken rear door. During the investigation, Mr. Seymore became very agitated and created a loud disturbance. He was placed in a patrol vehicle in an attempt to reduce the disturbance. During a search incident to arrest, a set of metal brass knuckles with a flip out knife was discovered in Ms. Price's purse. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Seymore was charged with First Degree Burglary and Disorderly Conduct. Ms. Price was charged with First Degree Burglary and Conceal Dangerous Weapon. Both subjects were held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner (15-MSP-021285)

THEFT, CDS: On Monday, June 22 at 3:31 pm, Tpr. C. Ruth responded to the Walmart for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that Brenda L. Grimes, 54, of Leonardtown, had stolen numerous items and bypassed all points of sale. A probable cause search was conducted, resulting in the recovery of CDS. Ms. Grimes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft Less than $1,000 and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance - Not Marijuana. She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
