LA PLATA, Md. (Sept. 1, 2015)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ATV STOLEN: On Sept. 1, during the overnight hours, a black, gold and green-colored ATV was stolen from the 6900 block of Heather Drive in Bryans Road. Officer E. Chapman is investigating.

MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE: On Aug. 31 at 11:46 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Flora Springs Street and Hamilton Road in Waldorf. Upon approaching the car, Officer C. Chamblee smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed the driver had 16 grams of marijuana, two scales and packaging materials in the car. Elijah Robinson, 18, of Waldorf, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute drugs.

SUSPICIOUS CAR LEADS TO DRUG ARREST: On Aug. 29 at 8:10 p.m., PFC D. Harrison was patrolling the 8500 block of Kingsview Drive in White Plains when he observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the neighborhood pool. PFC Harrison approached the vehicle and upon making contact with the occupants, he smelled the odor of raw marijuana. Further investigation revealed the driver, Seneca Austin Jonelis, 18, and a passenger, Antwan Darrelle McCall, 21, both of Waldorf were in possession of suspected marijuana, pills, assorted paraphernalia and cash, in amounts consistent with distribution. A 17-year-old male, who was also in the car, was in possession of marijuana. Jonelis and McCall were arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and the teen was charged with possession of drugs and released to his parents.

SEARCH FOR FUGITIVE LEADS TO RECOVERY OF DRUGS: On Aug. 29 at 4:08 p.m., officers responded to a citizen’s call for a possible fugitive in the 19500 block of Lariat Place in Waldorf. While searching for the subject, Cpl. J. Timko came into contact with Lionell Dion Williams, 32, of Waldorf. Cpl. Timko detected a strong odor of raw marijuana and upon further investigation found more than $1,000 in cash on Williams. He also found Williams in possession of two marijuana grinders, 12 grams of marijuana, 186 Oxycodone pills, and 29 Alprazolam pills. Williams was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

CALL FOR SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY LEADS TO ARRESTS IN BURGLARY OF VACANT HOME: On Aug. 27 at 9:58 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Gadwell Place in Waldorf for the report of a male and a female exiting the rear of a vacant house. A description of the subjects was broadcast and Officer E. Scuderi observed a male matching the description nearby. Officer K. Newman located the female. Both suspects were in possession of burglary tools. Tyrone Parker, 27, of La Plata and Shameka Neal, 22, of Waldorf were arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary.
