Fire at AMF Waldorf Bowling Lanes
A small fire around 1:49 a.m. today caused an estimated $2,000 in damages to the AMF Waldorf Bowling Lanes, located at 11920 Action Lane. The cause of the fire was due to an electrical malfunction in an appliance in the kitchen.
The one-alarm fire involved 10 firefighters from Waldorf VFD and took approximately 2 minutes to bring under control.
The fire was discovered by an employee.
No injuries or deaths were reported.
Vehicle Fire in Bushwood
Investigators suspect arson in a vehicle fire at Woodbush Drive and Upland Drive in Bushwood Saturday night around 9:44 p.m. Damages to the silver Dodge SUV are estimated at $15,000.
The one-alarm fire involved 6 firefighters from Seventh District VFD and took approximately 10 minutes to bring under control.
The fire was discovered by a homeowner on Woodbush Drive.
