LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 18, 2016)—The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest reports.

8/15/2016 REPORTS OF MAN WITH GUN AT PHILIP J. BEAN MEDICAL CENTER DETERMINED TO BE UNFOUNDED: On August 15, deputies responded to the Philip J. Bean Medical Center for the report of a man with a gun. A witness believed a man pulled out a gun in the lobby of the medical center, holstered it and then walked away. Numerous units arrived on scene, secured the medical center, and further investigation determined the report to be unfounded. The investigation confirmed the alleged gun was a cell phone.

8/16/2016 ASSAULT: Deputy J. Davis responded to the 13000 block of Evergreen Estates Lane in Ridge for the report of a theft and assault. The victim alleged the suspect, Joanna Marie O'Neil, age 32, of Ridge, stole cash from the victim's purse. While investigating the case, the victim also alleged O'Neil punched the victim in the face during an argument the day before. The victim displayed signs of injury consistent with the allegations. O'Neil was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Second Degree Assault and Theft Under $100. CASE#42194-16

8/17/2016 ASSAULT: Deputy J. Bush responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road for the report of an assault in progress. The victim alleged the suspect, Timothy Daniel Busby, Jr., age 24, of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim multiples times by choking the victim and grabbing the victim's arm. The victim displayed visible signs of injury. Busby was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Second Degree Assault. CASE# 42367-16

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle and stole property in the 28000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Deputy A. Budd is investigating the case. CASE# 41995-16

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle and stole property while the victim was parked at the Lowes in California. Deputy M. McCuen is investigating the case. CASE# 42037-16

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) entered a motor vehicle in the 45000 block of Camelot Court in Lexington Park. Cpl. G Knot is investigating the case. CASE# 42117-16

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and stole property in the 20000 block of Manor Drive in Park Hall. Deputy First Class J. Maguire is investigating the incident. CASE# 42187-16

THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) stole a trailer registration plate in the 48000 block of Sea Side View Road in Ridge. Deputy First Class T. Teague is investigating the case. CASE# 42461-16

BREAKING AND ENTERING TO MOTOR VEHICLE: During the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into motor vehicles by breaking windows in the 46000 block of Hilton Drive in Lexington Park. Deputy M. Beyer and Deputy B. Gaskill are investigating the cases. CASE#42535-16 and 42537-16
