Great Mills Swimming Pool to Offer Admission Discounts on School Holidays

The St. Mary's County Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Services announced today that beginning Friday, October 20, 2006 it will offer 50% off general admission for children on days which St. Mary's County Public Schools are closed. The school holidays and special fee schedule are listed below.

* Friday, October 20, 2006
* Tuesday, November 7, 2006
* Friday, November 10, 2006
* Wednesday - Friday, November 22-24, 2006
* December 25-29, 2006
* Monday, January 1, 2007
* Monday, January 15, 2007
* Monday, February 19, 2007
* Friday, March 23, 2007
* Monday - Friday, April 2- 6, 2007
* Monday, May 28, 2007

Open swim fees for school holidays:

* Children and Seniors - $2.00
* Adults - $3.00 (swimming or non-swimming)

Swimming parties may also be reserved on school holidays. The reduced party rental fees for school holidays are:

* $50 reservation fee with swim fee of $2 each for the first 18 children; $4 each for each additional child.

* Four adults may attend for free with each party; $3 each for each additional adult (swimming or non-swimming).

For additional information on Great Mills Swimming Pool school holiday fees or party rentals, please contact the pool at (301) 866-6560 or visit the pool at 21100 Great Mills Road (next to Great Mills High School in Great Mills). Payment is required at the time of party reservation; telephone reservations can be made using Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards. All parties must be scheduled through the Great Mills Pool office.
