The Southern Maryland Classifieds are the very popular among our readers in the community.  Since the posting of free ads is limited to individuals who are posting personal ads for items or services that are not sold on an ongoing basis for profit, we have created several advertising options to allow businesses to take advantage of the popularity of the classifieds.

You can buy a business ad in any of the classifieds sections in one of four ways:

• Regular Business Ad - $10-$15 per ad.  You can place your business ad in any classifieds category.  Your ad will be bold and green, denoting that it is a paid business ad and also giving it some extra visibility.  In addition, you can choose to have priority placement of your ad for an extra fee.  All fees for this service are paid on-line at the time you place your ad by using a credit card.  Alternately, you can place an ad in either the Service Directory, Business Opportunities or Real Estate section.  There is a basic posting fee in these three sections.  Therefore, you are not required to purchase the Bold & Green Business Ad option.  Please refer to the prices and posting rules for the classifieds for complete details.

• Premium Business Service - $15 surcharge per ad.  We are pleased to introduce our new Premium Business Service for the somd.com Classifieds. This service is designed to ease the burden on our busy corporate clients. Instead of tying up your staff to post and renew your ads, our staff will do it for you. You also have the option to keep your credit card on file for automatically billing or we can invoice you.  Click here for more information.

• Standard Sponsorship + Classifieds - $100 per month plus Classified ad cost.  You can take advantage of our Standard Sponsorship package even if you don't have a website.  Just place a classified ad for a minimum of three months and we'll direct your Standard Sponsorship links and banner to the ad.

• Category Hard Link - $100 per month.  We add a text link to the classifieds category of your choice, pointing to your website or email address.  The link always appears at the top of the page above the free listings in all subsections of the category.  Please use the on-line order form to have a Hard Link ad set up.

You can make payment by check or pay on-line using our secure payment website.  We accept VISA , Mastercard and American Express .
