The St. Mary's Girls' Lacrosse League is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the growth and development of girls' lacrosse throughout Southern Maryland. The common thread that binds the board members is their passion for the sport and the belief that the league will achieve its goals. Belief fuels enthusiasm, and determined enthusiasm explodes into passion. Vince Lombardi once said, "The difference between a successful person [or program] and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will." We have witnessed this explosion first-hand as we have introduced the dynamics of this sport to so many young girls.
