Charlotte Ann Hill, 64, of La Plata, MD, died November 14, 2008, in La Plata.

Mrs. Hill was a lifelong resident of Charles County. She married her high school sweetheart, Randy, whom she was married to for 44 years. Family meant everything to her. She was especially proud of her daughter and three grandchildren and son-in-law who she held dear to her heart. She received numerous awards of merit during her 30-year career at the College of Southern Maryland. She was an active member and served on numerous committees at her retirement community of "Washington Square" and was a volunteer at Civista Hospital. She was an active participant in charitable organizations especially American Cancer Society, Homeless of Charles County and Children's Aid Society. She was of the catholic faith and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in La Plata. She was an avid bird watcher. She enjoyed planting flowers and caring for her numerous flower gardens. She was a wonderful cook and loved to prepare meals for family and friends.

Born June 13, 1944, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Allan Stonestreet and the late Lucille Clements Stonestreet.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Randy" Hill; daughter Donna Kay Tzafaroglou and her husband Christopher of La Plata, MD; sisters, Betty Bowling and her husband Henry of Faulkner, MD and Linda Walter and her husband Francis of Bryantown, MD; three grandchildren, Kristina Ann, Megan Lynn, and Ryan Thomas Tzafaroglou of La Plata, MD.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2008, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646, with prayers beginning at 7pm.

Funeral Service will be Friday, November 21, 2008, 10:30 AM, Sacred Heart Church, La Plata, MD. Msgr. Oliver McGready will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Newport.

Pallbearers will be Henry Bowling III, James Goldsmith IV, James R. Hill, Chad Norcross, William Poole, and Clint Walter.
