Manuela Claudia "Mani" Stansbury, 59, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on October 16, 2021. Born March 12, 1962 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef Hatzel and Erica (Hahn) Hatzel.

Mani was a 1981 graduate of Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, OR. She moved to the east coast with her husband Lonnie in 1998 and they settled in Mechanicsville, MD in 1999. Mani was the Office Manager for Cullins Truck Tarping Systems in Clements, MD for nineteen years. Her hard work, dedication and friendship with her employer and co-workers was invaluable.

Mani was very giving, caring and compassionate toward all. She was always willing to help anyone at anytime. She loved all dogs and took great care of her own as well as any other in need. Whether it was nurturing a sick or injured dog back to health, or just providing weekend dog sitting services, she was more than willing to lovingly do so. No matter what the reason, any dog crossing paths with Mani was a lucky dog, and they knew it. She enjoyed camping and took great pride in her gardening. Mani's faith was never-ending. Her belief and love for God was her strength.

Mani is survived by her husband, Lonnie Stansbury, whom she married on January 21, 2000 in LaPlata, MD; Lonnie's sons, Lonnie Stansbury, Gary Stansbury and John Stansbury all of Florida; her sisters, Sylvia Adams, Faith Hatzel, and Acacia Hatzel all of Oregon; and her "pups" Dixie and Rebel.
