Florence Ellen Wallace-Lindsay, 71, of Lusby, Maryland passed away on October 18, 2019, after a long and hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born to the late Mary Corean Barefoot and William David Wallace.

Florence, or "Pud" as her friends and family fondly called her, was a graduate of Calvert High School, Class of 1966. After a 33-year career with the State of Maryland, Florence began a 13-year second career as a school bus driver for Calvert County Public Schools.

Even with her busy work and home life, Florence found time to commit to her volunteer work with the local community. Some of her many commitments included the Calvert County Fair Board, The Ladies Auxiliary to the Southern Maryland Volunteer Fireman's Association, Company 7 Alarmers-St Leonard Fire Department, a 4-H Leader/Volunteer, the Calvert County Election Board and Women of the Moose.

Her true loves were her family, kids and grandkids, her pets and her students on Bus #74. Known as the "Coupon Queen", when she wasn't busy with her volunteer commitments, Florence enjoyed spending her free time attending Blue Grass Concerts, craft show hopping, playing local BINGO, and for the love of her country.

Florence is survived by her children Patricia Eason, Lisa Eason-Locy and Charles Lindsay Jr., 8 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids. She is also survived by her siblings, David Jr, Jeanette, Mary Hellen, Sammy and Calvin.

John Paul Spicer, of Waldorf, Maryland formerly of Forestville, passed away on October 18, 2019 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall. He was 89 years old. Born on April 7, 1930 and raised in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Mary Agnes Murphy Spicer and Benjamin Franklin Spicer and attended Holy Comforter Catholic Church with his family.

Mr. Spicer served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. His educational background included being a graduate of the Jesuit Gonzaga High School, earning his Bachelor's in Education at Wilson Teacher's College and his Master's in Education at the University of Maryland. With over 35 years of service, Mr. Spicer was an Elementary School Teacher and Public Personnel Worker for Prince George's County Public Schools. Continuing his Catholic faith, Mr. Spicer was a long-standing Parishioner at Mount Calvary Catholic Church in Forestville and Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Spicer was preceded in death by his siblings Mary A. Sitek and James F. Spicer. He is survived by his wife Gloria Ann Fitzgerald Spicer; sons Reverend Kevin P. Spicer, C.S.C. of North Easton, MA and Brian David Spicer of Alexandria, VA.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM and from 6PM to 8PM with Prayers 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in support of the mission and ministries of the Congregation of Holy Cross, United States Province of Priests and Brothers, Office of Development, 480 Washington Street, North Easton, MA 02356-1299.

Joan Elizabeth Huntt, fondly known as Betty, 75, of White Plains, Maryland passed away on October 18, 2019 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland. Born on April 14, 1944 in Waldorf, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Agnes Mae Adams Ullman and Joseph Edward Ullman. A homemaker and Mom, Mrs. Huntt loved spending time with her family, relatives, friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed catching and eating Chesapeake Bay blue crabs and growing flowers in her garden. Mrs. Huntt was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pomfret.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Vivian, Linda, Walter Anton and Joseph Robert. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert K. Huntt; children Stacy L. Huntt (Marci) and Jason A. Huntt; grandchildren Tristan, Isabella and Sophie; step grandchild Devon Mouer; siblings Anna Bealle (John), Helena Garner (Lawrence), Teresa Walls, Elaine Swann, John Ullman (Judy), Glenn Ullman (Judy), Lawrence Ullman (Cindy); other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5PM to 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Mass will be offered on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11AM Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph Way, Pomfret, Maryland 20675. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Tommy Davis, Addie Cooksey, Jerry Coombs, Chuck Hamilton, Mike Hamilton, and Francis Simpson. Joan Ann Howlin of Lusby, MD, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at the age of 73. She was born on February 25, 1946, in Beaver Falls, PA to Mary [Lech] and Paul A. Green. Joan was a member of the Prince Frederick Elks Lodge #2620. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Howlin, loving mother of John Howlin (Catherine) and Jessica Wallace (Randall), and devoted grandmother of Riley Howlin, Drew Boone, Alexander Boone, Conner Howlin, Ty Boone, Shay Wallace, Randall Wallace and Breilla Wallace. She was the sister of Paul Green (Leslie) and is also survived by numerous other family members.

Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Monday, November 4 from 4 pm until start of Memorial Services at 6 pm.

Dr. Aaron Richardson, 78, of Mechanicsville, MD entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2019. Family and friends will unite on Friday, October 25, 2019 for visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at St. Matthew Pentecostal Church, 23755 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD.
