Lexington Park Man Charged with Sex Offense


On 12/04/04 the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into a reported sex offense. The investigation was forwarded to the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations. The report alleged that juvenile males were being sexually assaulted by an adult male suspect.

The investigation revealed that Suspect Quinton Lekeith Young, a 26 year old Lexington Park man, had committed third degree sex offenses against two juvenile males. The investigation is continuing and preliminary information revealed that there may be more victims.

The suspect was arrested on 12/05/04 and charged with the following: Two (2) counts of Third Degree Sex Offense, Two (2) counts of Displaying Obscene Material to a Minor, and Two (2) counts of Unnatural and Perverted Sex Acts. The suspect is being held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center on $75,000.00 bond

The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.
