LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.
An 11 year old juvenile male from Huntington, Md. and a 9 year old California, Md. juvenile male were arrested by Deputy Douglas Harris for Property Destruction. The juveniles shot a BB guns at a vehicle as it traveled along the roadway, causing two of the windows to explode. The juveniles were located and arrested. Additional charges are pending a review with the State's Attorney.
Deputy Zorana Sipos responded to a California, Md. store for a report of unattended children. She found that there were four children inside a vehicle ranging in age from 11 months old to nine. She awaited the arrival of the children's mother, who was inside shopping. Suspect Nakita Laquette Williams (age 29 of Leonardtown) was charged with three counts of Confined Unattended Child.
Craig Wesley Norton (Age 35 of California, Md.) was arrested by Deputy Jason Maletto on an outstanding warrant related to charge of Unlawful Possession of a Prescription Drug.
