LA PLATA, Md. - The Charles County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

SCHOOL BUS CRASH: On Jan. 11 at 8:05 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Stavors Road and Moore Street in Waldorf for the report of a crash involving a school bus. The bus and a 2003 Cadillac Escalade were traveling in opposite directions on Stavors Road and when they passed each other, the mirror of the SUV struck the side of the bus, which was slightly over the center line because of the width of the road. The bus was driven by Juli Ann Saunders, 37, of Newburg and occupied by three students from Mattawoman Middle School and an attendant. The Escalade was driven by Robert Michael Branham, Jr., 34, of Waldorf. No one was injured. Cpl. S. Burrows of the traffic Operations Unit is investigating.
