Home Invasion, Armed Robbery in St. Mary's


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) today released the following incident reports.

HOME INVASION: At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, a white male forced entry into an occupied residence on Friendship School Road in Loveville. Once inside the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from one of the occupants. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives are investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY: Shortly before midnight on Monday, Jan. 15, a female victim was walking in the area of Hilton Drive, Lexington Park when she was approached by four black males. One suspect placed a gun to her head and took her purse. The suspects fled the area after getting into a nearby vehicle. Detectives are investigating.
