St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

Eric Justin Eley (Age 35 of Piney Point) was arrested on an open warrant for Failure to Appear by Deputy Ronald Maloy.

Deputy Michael Peacher conducted a vehicle stop on November 30th, 2006 for a speed violation. The operator failed to provide a driver's license, but did provide a name and date of birth. The Deputy took a photo of her and wrote her a citation. The information that was provided was false. The operator provided information of her sister in law. The operator's driver's license was suspended. She was identified by the photograph taken on the scene as Dana Lynn Holt (Age 26 of Lexington Park). She was charged with Driving While Suspended and Fraud: Assuming another's identity to avoid prosecution.

Michael Anthony Reed Jr. (Age 23 of Staunton, Va) was arrested by Deputy Sarah Lacey for an open warrant through the State of Virginia. The warrant was related to "Selling Cocaine".

John Russell Drinks Sr. (Age 44 of LaPlata) was arrested by Deputy Timothy White on an open warrant. The warrant was related to a Failure to Appear for Resisting Arrest and Assault Second Degree.

John Francis Yorkshire (Age 47 of Mechanicsville) was arrested by Deputy Timothy White on an open warrant for Failure to Appear.

Robert Wayne Wright Sr. (Age 29 of Scotland) was arrested on an open warrant for possession of cocaine. The warrant was served by Deputy Michael George.

Deputy Timothy White served a Criminal Summons on John Wayne Duckett (Age 52 of Leonardtown for assaulting his girlfriend.

Deputy Margaret Smolarsky stopped a vehicle for speeding and identified the operator as Ryan Christopher Bradley (Age 21 of Upper Marlboro). Suspect Bradley was found to have a suspended driver's license and was in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

Steven Ashby Wood (Age 36 of Mechanicsville) was charged on a Criminal Summons for Theft over $500.00. The Criminal Summons was served by Deputy Angela Muller and was issued through Howard County.

Andrew Ryan Brady (Age 22 of No Fixed Address) was arrested after he stole more than $500.00 worth of items from a California Store. The arresting Deputy was Michael George and all of the items were recovered.

Nicole Anne Kelly (Age 21 of Lexington Park) was arrested on open warrants by Deputy J. Kirkner. A search was conducted once they arrived at the Detention Center and that revealed a baggie of prescription pills secreted on her person. The additional charge was filed as well.

Angel Marie Theresa Amos (Age 22 of California, Md.) was arrested for assaulting her husband. Deputy Michael George made the arrest after responding to the home and observing visible signs of injury to the victim.

John Andre Morgan (Age 42 of Piney Point) was arrested when he was witnessed by an off duty officer to be stealing DVD's. Deputy Harold Young made the arrest and charged the suspect with theft under $100.00.

Deputy Margaret Smolarsky responded to a reported assault at a Mechanicsville residence. Upon arrival she believed she heard a woman screaming and ran through the home, into the garage area attempting to locate the person in need of help. She observed the victim bleeding from various areas to include her nose. The suspect, Herbert Goodhue Lord (Age 39 of Mechanicsville) was covering the victim's mouth to prevent her screams from being heard. The suspect was arrested for Assault Second Degree and Property Destruction as he destroyed the windshield of the victim's vehicle.

Deputy Anthony Whipkey responded to Leonardtown residence for the reported unwanted guest. Upon arrival it was determined that the Suspect, Dinan Michelle Hall (Age 40 of Leonardtown) had struck the victim in the face. The assault caused a laceration. Suspect Hall was arrested.

Tracey Lee Beach (Age 35 of Lexington Park) was arrested for an open Child Support Warrant. A search incident to the arrest by Deputy David Corcoran revealed a quantity of marijuana.

Brian David Smith (Age 37 of St. Inigoes) was arrested on an open warrant for Failure to Appear. The warrant was served by Deputy Zorana Sipos.

James Lionel Medley Jr. (Age 22 of Great Mills) was arrested by Deputy Timothy Reese on an open warrant for Telephone Misuse and Harassment. Suspect Medley was contacted by Deputies when he approached the same victim listed in the warrant on the dance floor of a social event. The contact was in Violation of a Protective Order and the additional charges were levied.

Andrew Norman Brewer (Age 47 of Charlotte Hall) was arrested by Deputy Douglas Harris on an open warrant. One warrant was for Failure to Appear in the District Court for St. Mary's County and the other was for Failure to Appear in the District Court for Charles County.

Nikita Kali Armstrong (Age 20 of California Md.) was arrested on an open warrant for Theft. Further it was discovered that she was in Violation of a Protective Order by the persons she was in contact with. The arrest was made by Deputy Timothy Reese.

The following were charged with passing a worthless check:

Sheron Dwight Chase, Age 33 of Lexington Park, by Deputy David M. Yingling.

Joseph Leroy Bush Jr., Age 28 of Lexington Park, by Deputy Michael George.

William Eugene Collins, Age 36 of Hollywood, by Deputy James Molitor.

Ryan Christopher Gould, Age 22 of Ridge, by Deputy James Molitor.

Stephanie Hampton Jennings, Age 35 of Lexington Park, by Deputy William Rishel.

The following were charged with alcohol related offenses:

Steve Thomas Terrell, Age 23 of Mechanicsville, by Deputy John Logalbo. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of marijuana.

Amber Nicole Sprinkel, Age 21 of Mechanicsville, by Deputy Joseph Somerville.

Christopher David Biscoe, Age 32 of Mechanicsville, by Deputy David Cowan.

Anthony George Covington, Age 44 of Fort Washington, by Deputy James Stone.

Patrick Thomas Brown, Age 26 of St. Leonard, by Deputy David Corcoran. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of marijuana and a related smoking device.

Whitney Elizabeth Larson, Age 23 of Great Mills, by Deputy Todd Fleenor.
