MSP Reports for Calvert County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of June 14, an unknown culprit slashed two tires to a trailer parked on W. Mt. Harmony Rd., Owings, MD. TPR Chirichella is handling the investigation.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On June 21, 12:54 PM, Rt. 4, Sunderland, TPR Chirichella stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, TPR Chirichella detected the odor of suspected CDS. A search was conducted and a CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine residue was located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia was Daniel Eugene Dougherty, 23, of Prince Frederick. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of June 21, an unknown culprit broke a light fixture on a pole on Mescarlaro Ln., Lusby. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of June 22, an unknown culprit vandalized two vehicles parked on Algonquin Trl., Lusby. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of June 22, an unknown culprit damaged a screen to a residence on Catalina Dr., Lusby. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of June 22, an unknown culprit slashed 4 tires on a vehicle parked on Binnacle Ct., Lusby. TPR Laziuck is handling the investigation.
