St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (October 3, 2007) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department today released the following incident and arrest reports.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On 10/02/07 DFC B. Connelly and Deputy Gill responded to a residence in Leonardtown, Maryland to serve an interim protective order. Deputies Gill and Connelly contacted suspect, Kent Richard Luppino, 44, of Leonardtown, and served him with the copies of the order and explained the parameters of the order, which stated he must vacate the property immediately. The suspect was told several times to obey the court order and he refused. He was arrested and charged with violating the order. He was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10/02/07 SDFC S. Clark arrested James Mark Kimble Sr., 44, of Mechanicsville, on an open District Court Warrant for Assault 2nd Degree and False Imprisonment. He was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10/02/07 DFC Milton Pesante arrested David Leroy Miles, 49, of Hollywood, Maryland, on a Circuit Court Warrant for Failure to Appear. He was transported to Detention Center and held without bond.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10/02 DFC Milton Pesante arrested Joseph Abbott Baker, 42, of Lexington Park, on a Circuit Court Body Attachment for failure to pay a purge amount. He was transported to the Detention Center on a $1000 bond.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10/03/07 Deputy Stone arrested Kevin Michael Thompson, 24, of Lexington Park, on a District Court Warrant for Assault 2nd Degree. He was transported to the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

INDICTMENT FOR SELLING DRUGS: Robert Maurice Scriber, 34, of Dement Lane in California, Md., was arrested this week on several felony counts related to the distribution of crack cocaine. He was indicted by BCI Vice Narcotics Detectives through the St. Mary's County Grand Jury. Suspect Scriber was arrested without incident and is currently being held without bond in the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
