Emergency Power Equipment Company Relocates to Calvert County


OWINGS, Md. (October 25, 2007) - Kelly Generator & Equipment (KGE); a supplier of industrial, commercial and residential standby power generators, generator service, rentals and parts distribution; recently moved its corporate headquarters to Owings, Md.

After 17 years in Upper Marlboro, John E. Kelly Jr., President and CEO of KGE and longtime resident of St. Leonard, Md., is expanding his operations into a newly built, nearly 30,000 square-foot facility off Rt. 4 north in Owings, Md.

On Tuesday, October 30th, KGE will celebrate by hosting an Open House at their new location at 1955 Dale Lane in Owings. The Open House is from 1-7:00 p.m. and is open to the public for food and refreshments, interactive product demonstrations, and building tours. Attendees can also register to win a FREE home generator.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m., preceded by a few words from the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners President, Wilson H. Parran. Commissioner Parran will be joined by several other County Commissioners at the celebration.
