LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Aug. 17, 2008)—Seven correctional officers recently joined the St. Mary's County Detention Center's Emergency Response Team after completing training at the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy June 23-27.
The seven officers are: Michael Grimes, Jr.; Kenneth Flerlage; Austin Schultz; Bryan Long; William Wood III; Wil Thompson; and Joseph Faunce, Jr.
