St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 19, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On November 19, Corporal V. Walker responded to a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed Corey Terrell Bonds, 25 of Lexington Park, was in a verbal dispute with the victim. The victim had possession of car keys and was attempting to prevent Bonds, who she believed to be under the influence of alcohol, from driving. Bonds became angry and attempted to take the keys from the victim causing lacerations to the victim's hand, face, and neck. The victim attempted to leave in the vehicle at which point Bonds threw a beer bottle at the vehicle shattering the windshield. Shattered glass struck the victim in the face causing further injury. Bonds was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
