Mary Helen Pilkerton, "Mary Helen", 88, of Leonardtown, MD, passed away on March 24, 2024 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on May 19, 1935 in Clements, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Angle and the late Joseph Angle. Mary Helen was the loving wife of the late John Franklin "Frank" Pilkerton who preceded her in death on February 9, 1998. She is survived by her children, Barbara Hayden (Tom) of King George, VA, John Pilkerton of Rappahannock, VA, and Timothy Pilkerton (Sylvia) of Mechanicsville, MD, her siblings George Angle, Dottie Cullinan, Tommy Angle, Catherine Hughes, and Beasy Rollins, ten grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her children, Christopher Allen and Sharon Mckenzie, and her siblings Betty Hager, Agnes Clements, Jimmy Angle, Francis Angle, Teresa Knott, and Clara Gatton.

Mary Helen graduated from Great Mills High School and was a homemaker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Our Lady's Catholic Church, 41410 Medley's Neck Road, Leonardtown MD 20650, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Pilkerton, Jeremy Pilkerton, Jeffrey Pilkerton, John Curtis Pilkerton, Mark Cooksey, and Jimmy Knott. Honorary pallbearers will be Vicki Wallace, Angela Vaillant, Madison Pilkerton, Ryan Wallace, Sarah Wallace, and Hayden Vaillant.
