1st Degree Assault: On 7/5/04 Dfc. C. Earle responded to a reported 1st Degree Assault at Joe Baker Village, Lexington Park, Maryland. Investigation revealed Victim Vaughn Clark and Suspect Joyce Douglas were involved in a verbal altercation. The verbal dispute escalated at which time Suspect Douglas stabbed Victim Clark several times with a knife causing lacerations to Victim Clark's head and neck. Victim Clark was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Suspect Douglas was placed under arrest, charged with Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon and incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
Burglary: On 7/5/04 Dfc. J. Schwab responded to a reported Burglary on North Essex Dr. Lexington Park, Maryland. Investigation reveals unknown culprit(s) entered the victims residence through a window and removed property belonging to the victim.
