The Charles County Commissioners enacted a noise control ordinance, Ordinance 2004-01, on March 7, 2005, that will go into effect April 21, 2005. The ordinance establishes measurable standards for environmental noise, specific violations and exemptions, enforcement procedures, and fines for violations of the Ordinance.
