On April 1st, 2005 Deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Great Mills Road Great Mills, St. Mary's County, Maryland for the report of a subject with a handgun. The male subject was located and identified as Christopher Dewaine Harrod and a handgun was located inside his jacket pocket. The suspect was turned over to Detectives with the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) and later charged with one (1) count of a Weapons Violation. He is currently incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center awaiting his appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
