2 Middle School Bomb Threats Prove False


On May 21 at 2:54 p.m., someone called 911 and reported a bomb at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School at 2040 St. Thomas Drive in Waldorf. A K9 team responded and checked the school and did not locate a bomb or unusual activity.

Later that day at 4:53 p.m., 911 received another report of a bomb at the school. A K9 team responded and checked with negative results. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer A. Upshaw is investigating.
