Vehicle Stolen from Waldorf Residence

Sometime between 11 p.m. Sept. 27 and 6 a.m. Sept. 28, suspect(s) stole a 1994 green Jeep Cherokee Laredo that was parked at a residence in the 10300 block of Cassidy Court in Waldorf. When Officer J. Timko responded to the residence for the report, he discovered a white Plymouth Acclaim with steering column damage. The vehicle was parked about 6 feet away from where the Jeep Cherokee was stolen. The owner of the Plymouth could not be located and it was not immediately known whether the vehicle had been stolen so it was towed and stored for safe keeping. Several hours later, the Sheriff's Office learned the vehicle was stolen sometime between Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 in Prince George's County. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. Timko is investigating.
