MD State Police Barracks U Weekly News Release


MOTORCYCLE THEFT: On 10-7, a resident of Gunsmoke Trl., Lusby, reported that his 2003 Kawasaki was stolen from his yard. On 10-9, the motorcycle was recovered by a PG County officer after a brief chase. The suspect ran from the scene and was not apprehended. TPR Mounts is handling the investigation.

BURGLARY: On 10-7, an unknown culprit entered a residence on Mariner Cir., Lusby. Some property was damaged, but nothing has been reported stolen. CIT is handling the investigation.

BURGLARY: On 10-7, between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence on Radcliffe Rd., Huntingtown. Two televisions, jewelry, and clothing were removed from the premises. CIT is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 10-8, 3:45 AM, TPR Ewig responded to the intersection of Emmanuel Church Rd. and Stinnett Rd., Huntingtown, for a destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had damaged 3 mailboxes and a paperbox.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 10-10, an employee of Woodburn's Market, Solomons, reported that an unknown culprit had tried to forcibly enter two soda machines. Property damage is estimated at $200.00. TFC Johns is handling the investigation.
