Welcome Man Arrested for DUI, Drug Possession After Accident

10/08/05 - After responding to an accident on southbound U.S. Rt. 301, north of Old Stagecoach Road, the driver, Justin Christopher Plante, 21 years, of Welcome, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana. Mr. Plante was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. Tpr. A. Harrod conducted this investigation.
