Prince Frederick KFC Robbed at Gunpoint


On October 22 at 11:13 p.m. the Calvert Control Center received an alarm from Kentucky Fried Chicken located at 65 W. Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.

Patrol officers from the Maryland State Police and the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded. After talking with employees, Cpl. Timothy Fridman discovered that two black males, with handguns, had entered the rear door of the establishment. They wore ski masks and ordered everyone on the ground.

The suspects asked the manager to open the safe. The two suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe and from a nearby cash drawer. The suspects fled the business in an unknown direction of travel. No one was injured during the robbery.
