Governor Ehrlich to Present Community Development Grant Awards in Charles County


Nearly $400,000 in State assistance will fund a community center and substance abuse facility

Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. will present nearly $400,000 in State assistance to the Bel Alton School Alumni Association, CDC. and Jude House, Inc., in a ceremony scheduled for Tuesday November 1, 2005 off of Crain Highway (South). Governor Ehrlich will be joined by Secretary Victor Hoskins (DHCD) and State and local elected officials.

Awards to be presented include:

• A Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Bel Alton School Alumni Association, Inc.-for facility improvements ($190,400)
• A Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Jude House, Inc.- for facility improvements ($205,000)
