Reckless Teen Causes Accident

On Nov. 21 at 12 p.m., a 1995 Saturn coupe driven by a 17-year-old Waldorf girl was traveling on Piney Church Road approaching Renner Road when the driver rounded a curve too quickly and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. A passenger in the vehicle, a 17-year-old Waldorf girl, was ejected from the vehicle. Neither girl was wearing her seatbelt.

They were both flown to Prince George's Hospital Center as a precaution. Officer C. Shaw investigated.
