On 12/16/05 Deputy J. Maletto responded to a business in Leonardtown, Maryland for the reported Domestic Disturbance. Investigation revealed the parties were involved in a physical altercation regarding divorce issues. Suspect Rene J. Ramos, of Leonardtown grabbed the victim by her coat and pulled her to the ground. The victim attempted to leave the area when Mr. Ramos parked his vehicle in a manner preventing the victim from exiting the area. Mr. Ramos was subsequently placed under arrest, charged with Assault Second Degree, and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
