Multiple Thefts from Autos in St. Leonard


On December 18 at 8:00 a.m., DFC R. Wilson responded to Laurel Road in St. Leonard for a report of a theft from an auto. While talking with the victim, DFC. Wilson discovered that there were other victims in the surrounding area whose vehicles had been entered by unknown persons. DFC. Wilson located victims on Hillside Road, Black Cherry Lane, Wild Cherry Lane, Morello Way, Oak Crest Drive, and Bunch Lane in St. Leonard. In total, 26 victims’ vehicles were unlawfully entered, with either the contents of the vehicle being disturbed or items being stolen. The total loss amount is $1,513.00. All of the vehicles were in the driveway of each victim and were unlocked. The thefts occurred sometime between December 17 at 10:00 p.m. and December 18 when the thefts were reported at 8:00 a.m. These cases are under investigation by the CIT Division.
