Destruction of Property & Disorderly Conduct in Charles County


DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Sometime between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 29, suspect(s) punctured all four tires on a blue 1987 Acura Legend sedan parked at Burger King at 1110 Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. Timko is investigating.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On Jan. 28 at 1:06 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to an apartment in the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf for the report of an assault. Investigation revealed an assault did not occur but Joseph Anthony Long, 28, of Mitchellville, Md., and the resident of the apartment, a 26-year-old woman, were having an argument and she wanted him to leave but he refused. As officers escorted Long from the building, he became disorderly in the hallway and refused to leave. Officers arrested Long and charged him with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the district court commissioner. Officer J. Timko investigated.
