State Police Reports for Calvert County


POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-2, 2:30 AM, Rt. 2/4, Solomons, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, TFC Bowling detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana and a CDS smoking device were located in the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was David Paul Skirvin, 20, of Lusby. After processing, Mr. Skirvin was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-2, 11:02 AM, Rt. 260, Owings, TFC Murphy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Ryan Marquette Holland, 24, of Sunderland, was found to be driving on a suspended license. A K-9 scan was conducted on the vehicle and suspected marijuana was located. Mr. Holland was placed under arrest at that time by TFC Koch and charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On 2-3, 12:17 AM, Rt. 260, Owings, CPL Bolger stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, CPL Bolger detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia were located in the vehicle and on the person of Brenda Arnold, 42, of Upper Marlboro. She was placed under arrest at that time for possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-3, 1:52 AM, Rt. 2/4, Lusby, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Jessica Blair Fleetwood, 20, of Mechanicsville, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. She was then additionally charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

THEFT: During the overnight hours of 2-2, an unknown culprit removed all 4 tires from a vehicle parked at a residence on Rt. 260, Dunkirk. TFC Bevard is handling the investigation.

DISTRIBUTION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-3, 9:26 PM, Rt. 231, Prince Frederick, TFC Whipp stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Brandon Anthony Mackall, 23, of Prince Frederick, TFC Whipp detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana was recovered. Mr. Mackall was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and DUI. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-5, 12:27 AM, St. Leonard Rd., St. Leonard, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, TFC Keen detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and a baggie of suspected marijuana was located on the person of Calvin Eugene Holland, 24, of Prince Frederick. He was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana. He was then transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 2-5, 11:46 PM, Rt. 2/4, Huntingtown, TPR Dawson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, TPR Dawson detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and a baggie of suspected marijuana and a CDS smoking device were recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was James Edward Stowell, III, 19, of Upper Marlboro. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.

THEFT: During the overnight hours of 2-6, an unknown culprit entered three vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence on Plum Pt. Rd., Huntingtown. A Dooney & Burke purse, a cellphone, and a small amount of change were reported stolen. TFC White is handling the investigation.
