Burglary & Drug Arrest in Calvert County


On February 7, Dfc. J. Hudson responded to Curves, located at 205 Steeple Chase Drive in Prince Frederick for a burglary. The owner advised that sometime overnight the business had been broken into. Nothing was reported missing, however, damage is estimated at $550.00. Cpl. Timothy Fridman of C.I.T. will continue the investigation.

Dep. V. Bortchevsky responded to 110 W. Dares Beach Road, the Calvert Village Shopping Center, on February 14 at approximately 8:40 p.m. for a report of a disorderly male. The complainant reported that the male was intoxicated. Dep. Bortchevsky and Tfc. S. Keen of MSP, Barrack U, Prince Frederick, contacted the subject in the parking lot standing next to a white Cadillac occupied by two people. The officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The front seat passenger, identified as Jonathan R. Valentine, 21, of Prince Frederick, was searched and found to have marijuana in his possession. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
