Charles County Public Works Truck Hits Unloaded St. Mary's County Public Schools Bus


On Feb. 28 at 3:32 p.m., a Charles County Public Works truck driven by Grady Terry Warhurst, 59, of Upper Marlboro was attempting to turn onto Leonardtown Road from Billingsley Road when it struck a St. Mary's County Public Schools bus traveling north on Leonardtown Road. The bus, driven by Mary Magdiline Maddox, 42, of Leonardtown, was not transporting any passengers and neither driver was injured. Officer R. Glover of the Traffic Operations Unit investigated.
