BCI Obtains Grand Jury Indictment for "Butterball"


Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division obtained a Grand Jury Indictment for the arrest of William Kuykendall (also known as “Butterball”). The arrest warrant was related to an investigation spanning several months where the Suspect was found to be selling crack cocaine. Narcotics Officers, assisted by K-9 and Patrol Officers, located Suspect Kuykendall and took him into custody without incident. He is currently being held without bond pending a bond review through the Circuit Court.

The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police, Leonardtown Barrack. The unit was established on July 1, 2003 and is based in Leonardtown, Maryland.
