State Approves a $1.15 Million for Construction of New Dock at Smallwood State Park in Charles County

On Wednesday, May 17, Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. announced that the Board of Public Works approved a contract in the amount of $1.15 million for the construction of a new floating dock structure at Smallwood State Park in Charles County. The project consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing wooden floating dock with a new 17,500- square-foot concrete floating dock with a wave attenuator at the marina outer dock system.
