Sobriety Checkpoints Planned for Charles County on Memorial Day Weekend


Law enforcement agencies throughout Charles County will join together for a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, May 27, 2006 for the Memorial Day weekend. The goal for this checkpoint is to reduce the number of drunk and drugged drivers on Charles County roadways during the Memorial Day weekend. Citizens can report suspected drunk and drugged drivers by dialing #77 on their cell phone. This is a free call that is connected to the closest Maryland State Police Barrack.
