MTA Modifies Friday's Bus Service to Accomodate Early Departures for the Holiday Weekend


The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is anticipating many riders will chose to leave work early on Friday, May 25th for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. As such, they have modified service on several routes to accommodate early departures.

The modified afternoon route schedules are listed below:

Route 901 - Trips 40 & 44 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run the midday trip (#25) and two buses will run on the first PM trip (#26).

Route 902 - Trips 23 & 26 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run the midday trip (#15) and two buses will run on the first PM trip (#16).

Route 903 - NO changes

Route 904 - Trips 19 & 21 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run the midday trip (#13) and two buses will run on the first PM trip (#14).

Route 905 - Trips 33 & 35 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run the midday trip (#20) and two buses will run on the first PM trip (#21).

Route 907 - NO changes

Route 909 - NO changes

Route 913 - NO changes

Route 915 - Trip 318 will not operate. Two buses will run on trip 302.

Route 921 - NO changes

Route 922 - Trip 17 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run trip 10. (note: one of these buses will be signed to serve Kent Island).

Route 929 - Trip 112 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run trip 120.

Route 950 - Trip 20 will not operate. Instead, two buses will run trip 15.

Route 991 - Trip number 708 will not operate as scheduled. Instead, trip 708 will operate at 2:10 pm beginning from Rock Spring Business Park, making all the same stops as trip 718.

Route 995 - Trip 520 (Clarkesville) will operate early. It will follow the same scheduled departure times as trip number 522.
