On May 21 at 12:31 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Benedict Marina, located at 19311 Wilmott Drive in Benedict for a report of a fight. Investigation revealed three suspects assaulted a 34-year-old Calvert County man and fled the scene. The victim sustained facial injuries and was flown to Suburban Hospital by a Maryland State Police helicopter.
